"Light up for Peace" Prayer Vigil in New York City

T he purpose of this gathering is to join in prayer on the eve of the Peace Rally and Peace Festival to be held on May 2, followed by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference to be held at the United Nations from May 3. The gathering will be a rare occasion to meet and engage in dialogue with actual Hibakusha (survivors of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki).

People with an open heart are invited to participate. Bring some form of handheld lighting (Toh-Roh, flashlight, cell phone light, etc.) as we engage together in candlelit prayer for peace around the world and hope towards a non-nuclear  world for our children in the future.
